Board temperature

Hi,

could some please let me know what the field next to the board temperature value is for?

As I could not find anything related in the doc I just put 5.0 and hit the enter. LC crashed and I lost connection with it. then in 10 seconds I could reconnect to it and the field was set back to 0.0
So I still don't know..
I think it might be related somehow with some trigger what I can put on temp changes or may be a hyst. value.
(Same question for VCC)

I'm pretty sure that it should be adding up to the value taken by the sensor.
For example if you write there 10.0, and measured temperature is 27.0, the result will say 37.0.

thanks for your post! I will test this.
but I still don't know what can we do with the board temp? Have you seen the reference of board temp anywhere in the GUI? it is not in the event config, nor in config. So with or with-out the added value we can't do anything with

We can monitor if your device is not overheating.
I'd say that monitoring a device itself is important.
