Hi,

I suppose this problem have been tackled many times but unfortunately I don't speak Polish, and the search engine of this forum makes me crazy throwing back to me all my key words saying "too many items" or "too short key" word...I am using google translator but I gave up after several days of desperate searching..

So please help me get working e-mail sending. All parameters are set, no SSL and still no e-mail sent. What else should I try?

this is how I set it in:

I have also checked if port 25 is open:
telnet smtp.upcmail.hu 25
I think there is no ssl

try use full username: myotheraddress@upcmail.hu

i tried myotheraddress@upcmail.hu and it does not work.
however I tried sendSMTP with myotheraddress@upcmail.hu from my local pc and the mail was sent. so I tried defining in lancontroller my pc as a smtp server but it does not work:

AND YESS, it works now!

SOLUTION:

I have tried the whole username as suggested myotheraddress@upcmail.hu and the smtp server resolved with its IP address

could that mean, that my DNS definition is not correct? Iput in the router's lan address as 192.168.0.1

may be that is the reason that NTP does not work either
